Terms & Conditions – Sanrachana Academy

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“T&C”) govern participation in all programs, coaching sessions, training, camps, and events conducted by Sanrachana Academy (“the Academy”). By enrolling, accessing services, or submitting registration, parents/guardians and participants agree to abide by these T&C, academy policies, and applicable laws of India including the Indian Contract Act, 1872 and Information Technology Act, 2000 (for digital consent).

2. Enrollment & Participation

2.1 Eligibility
Enrollment is open to individuals meeting academy criteria. For minors, registration must be completed by a parent/legal guardian.

2.2 Fee Structure & Payments

• Fees must be paid in advance as per schedule

• Fees are non-refundable except in exceptional cases at academy discretion

• Payments must be made only through approved channels

2.3 Code of Conduct Compliance
All participants must follow academy Code of Conduct aligned with:

• FIBA guidelines

• BFI standards

• KSBBA

• POCSO Act, 2012 (child safety framework)

Violation may result in suspension or termination without refund.

3. Medical Fitness & Insurance

• Participants may be required to provide medical fitness confirmation when necessary

• Parents/guardians must disclose any pre-existing medical conditions

• It is strongly recommended that all participants maintain valid medical/accident insurance

• The Academy is not responsible for treatment costs arising from injuries during participation

4. Safety & Child Protection

• The Academy follows child safety standards under the POCSO Act, 2012

• Staff may undergo background verification for safeguarding minors

• The Academy adheres to recognized sports safety practices (including Khelo India and SAI guidelines where applicable)

• Any safeguarding concern will be handled with priority and confidentiality

5. Liability & Risk Acknowledgment

• Sports activities involve inherent physical risk including injury

• Participants and guardians acknowledge and voluntarily accept such risks

• The Academy takes reasonable safety precautions but cannot guarantee zero risk

• The Academy is not liable for injuries arising from participation unless caused by proven gross negligence

• The Academy is not responsible for loss/damage of personal belongings

6. Fees, Attendance & Refund Policy

• Fees are charged for reserved training slots

• No refund or adjustment is provided for missed sessions due to personal reasons

• If the Academy cancels sessions, alternative sessions may be provided where feasible

• Continued participation is subject to timely fee payment

7. Digital Consent & Signature Validity

• By submitting registration forms, clicking consent checkboxes, or providing electronic acknowledgment, the parent/guardian agrees that such action constitutes a valid electronic signature under the Information Technology Act, 2000.

8. Website Usage & Intellectual Property

• All content on the Academy website (text, logo, images, training material) is the property of Sanrachana Academy unless stated otherwise

• Unauthorized copying, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited

• The website is intended for informational and enrollment purposes only

9. Website Cookies & Third-Party Tools

• The website may use cookies for functionality and analytics

• Third-party services (e.g., embedded maps, forms, videos) may also use cookies

• Users consent to essential cookies required for website operation

10. External Links Disclaimer

The Academy website may contain links to third-party platforms. The Academy is not responsible for:

• Content accuracy

• Privacy practices

• Services offered by external sites

11. Collaboration & External Programs

• Institutional collaborations require separate written agreement (MoU)

• Participation in external tournaments is subject to academy approval and organizer rules

12. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

• All disputes shall be governed under Indian laws (Indian Contract Act, 1872)

• Jurisdiction: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India

• Disputes shall first be resolved through mutual discussion/mediation before legal proceedings

13. Amendments

The Academy reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions. Continued participation after updates constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
